Con Air
So Nick Cage protects his wife, and gets attacked by 3 drunk guys. They tear off his medals, smash his head with a bottle and proceed to beat the shit out of him.
Nick Cage fights back, one guy comes at him with a knife, and Nick smashes the guy’s nose in, killing him.
The judge decides to disregard all of that, including the basic theory of self defense and gives him 7-10 years in prison...
